Missed Sunday? The message is kept here, with the full video and the written summary, so you can watch it, read it, and send it to someone who needs it.
Every Sunday service at New Hope, a Brazilian Presbyterian church in Orlando, is streamed live and recorded. Each message gets its own page, with the full video, the written summary, and the Bible passages, and the archive is updated every Monday.
“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”
Romans 10:17 (NIV)
Preaching faithful to the Holy Bible is a mark New Hope has carried since its early years, alongside fellowship, hospitality, and service. Every Sunday is recorded here, in full, from worship to the message.
The full recording keeps what Sunday planted, and the written summary gives you the message in a few minutes of reading. You can take your time rewatching the part that spoke to you, reread the main points, and send the whole message to someone who needed exactly that word.
Anyone who wants to follow along closely can get the services by email, in English or in Portuguese, along with the church's upcoming gatherings. It is one email a week, on Tuesday.

How people use it
New Hope's sermons reach far beyond Sunday morning. Some people work shifts and watch on Monday, some live in another city, families in Brazil follow their loved ones' church from far away, and some come back midweek to rewatch the part that stayed in their hearts.
That is why every service gets the full video and a page with the written summary. You can watch on your own schedule, reread the message in a few minutes, and share it with the people you love.
Many people turn the recorded service into their study for the week: they go back to the sermon with an open Bible and work through the passages at their own pace.
Grounded in the Word
Preaching at New Hope is faithful to the Holy Bible. It is one of the marks the church has built since its early years, together with fellowship, hospitality, and service.
The Presbyterian tradition stands behind this. New Hope understands that healthy growth stands firm on the Scriptures, which is why preaching, Bible teaching, discipleship, prayer, worship, and the training of new leaders go together.
The goal is to form disciples who know the Word, grow in spiritual maturity, and make a difference where God has placed them. Every message recorded here is one part of that path.
The team behind the stream
A group of volunteers from New Hope Church runs the sound, the cameras, and the live stream every Sunday. They are the ones who bring the message to people at home, at work, or in another country.
The work happens with headsets on, in a booth at the back of the sanctuary, and it is done with care and attention to detail. Serving well is also a way to worship, as Colossians 3:23 (NIV) says: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters…”
Every recorded service you find on this page passed through their hands before it reached you.
The language of the service
The service is preached in Portuguese, and the stream and the recording are in Portuguese. Those in the sanctuary who prefer English follow along through live English interpretation, with a headset picked up at the entrance and returned on the way out.
The interpretation is done live by volunteers from the church, so that every visitor can follow the entire service in the language they know best.
Every Tuesday
Every Tuesday, a single summary goes out: Sunday's sermon, with the passages, and the gatherings coming up. One email a week, in Portuguese or in English.
