From early childhood to the later years, New Hope Church has ministries and groups ready to welcome people at different moments of life. Find your group, check the times, and come walk alongside us.
New Hope, a Brazilian Presbyterian church in Orlando, organizes the life of the congregation into six ministries, each with its own age group, day, and team. Kids and Special Needs take place during the Sunday service. Forever Youth meets on Wednesday. Family, Casa, and Immigration happen throughout the week and the year.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
At New Hope Church, a ministry is not a department. It is the practical way of making sure that everyone who arrives has a place. A four-year-old, a fifteen-year-old, a newly married couple, and someone who has just landed in Orlando have different needs, and each of those needs has an address.

Serve
The ministries of New Hope Church happen through people willing to serve, who recognize the Lord’s call and answer it with joy. Just as Jesus served His friends and His community, the team that greets people at the door, the team that cares for the children, the team that leads worship, and the people who open their home on Tuesday all serve out of the same love.
If you would like to serve, contact the church and tell us what you enjoy doing: there is a place for your gift, and the pastoral team will walk with you until you find it.
Where to start
If you have children, start with the Sunday service: you take part, they go to Kids, and within two or three weeks your child already knows the name of the volunteer in the room. If you live far from the church or work on Sundays, start with a New Hope Casa home, which is smaller and closer to you. If you are a teenager, Wednesday night is the place. And if what you need right now is help with documents, the door is the church’s immigration office, by appointment.
Sunday, 10:30am
Every ministry at New Hope Church has the same front door: coming on a Sunday. After that, the team helps you find the right group.
