What the church does with your data

Three forms on this site ask for some of your information: the prayer request, the message to the church office, and the sermon email subscription. This page explains what happens with each one.

What reaches the church

What we receive

Prayer request

The form asks for your name, your email, your phone number if you choose to leave it, and the request itself. It is read by the church’s prayer team, and the request stays between you and the team. It is not read during the service, is not added to any email list, and is not shared with anyone.

Message through the contact page

Your name, email, phone number when provided, and the text of the message. It arrives in the church office’s inbox, and the office replies from there.

Sermons by email

Name and email. Every Tuesday, an email goes out with the previous Sunday’s service. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing takes one click. The list is stored in Brevo, the service that sends these emails.

How the information travels

Where this data goes

The site is hosted by Hostinger. When you submit a form, the text passes through a Cloudflare service that exists only to deliver the message, and then goes to the church by email through Resend. The sermon subscription is stored in Brevo.

The church does not sell or trade this data, and does not use any of it for advertising. Each of the three services above receives only what it needs to deliver the message or the email.

Site analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to count how many people visit each page and how they get there. This count is aggregated: it shows numbers, not names. Analytics stores a cookie in your browser so the same visit is not counted twice, and measurement starts only after the page finishes loading.

Service videos are provided by YouTube, and the 360-degree tour by Google Maps. When you open either one, that service’s own policy applies.

In your control

How to delete or correct

Just ask. Write through the contact form or send a WhatsApp message to (407) 275-6161 saying what you want deleted, and the church deletes it. To leave the sermon list, the link at the bottom of any of the emails takes care of it right away.

Prayer requests are kept for as long as the team is praying for them, and you stay on the email list for as long as you want to receive the emails.

Children

The site does not ask for information about children anywhere. New Hope Kids registration is done in person, on Sunday, with a parent or guardian present.
